Die verkehrte Welt #1

Die verkehrte Welt è un lavoro concepito per gli spazi di Villa Vertua, in dialogo sia con l’architettura che con il parco esterno alla villa.

In Die verkehrte Welt #1 i quattro telai replicano sulla parete cieca di una stanza la forma e la grandezza di una finestra liberty posizionata sulla parete opposta.
L’immagine dipinta rappresenta invece una veduta satellitare del parco antistante la villa.
Si genera così un cortocircuito fra due dispositivi ottici, l’uno analogico (la finestra) e l’altro digitale (il satellite) che rimandano a due regimi scopici different e opposti, fra soggettività e oggettività.

In Die verkehrte Welt #2 l’immagine presenta un dettaglio ricavato da una fotografia della veduta di una delle finestre. L’immagine dipinta viene messa in un parallelo visivo con il suo modello reale posto fuori dalla finestra.

Die verkehrte Welt is a work conceived for the spaces of Villa Vertua, in dialogue with both the architecture and the park outside the villa.

In Die verkehrte Welt # 1 the four frames replicate (on the blind wall of the room) the shape and size of one of the windows of the building. The painted image represents a satellite view of the park in front of the villa. This generates a short circuit between two optical devices: the window and the satellite.

In Die verkehrte Welt # 2 the image presents a detail taken from a photograph of the view of one of the windows. The painted image is placed in a visual parallel with its real model placed outside the window.
